Shelly and Mike's cake was a lot of fun to make. She is a personal friend of mine and as such, it had to be "just right". Their Friday evening Wedding posed a challenge, but as her friend, I had no choice but to deliver!
Mr. & Mrs. McCune renewed their vows on their 50th Wedding Anniversary! It was an honor to be asked to make their cake. Just to think, I only have 46 more years to go before I celebrate my Golden Anniversary!
This entire event was, in a word, classy! Everything from the ceremony to the reception (which included a panoramic view of Kansas City). It was all incredibly well done. The cake Regina picked out fit the occasion perfectly. Congratulations to Reginald and Regina, a classy couple.
Jordan & Theresa's wedding was special to me because, not only was I able to put something "extra" into it for my step-son, I also gained a step-daughter-in-law out of the ceremony! They are a great couple and really seem committed to each other. I wish them all of the best!
Andrea and Timothy had a beautiful Sunday wedding. Her mother is a floral arranger so I knew the reception was going to be memorably beautiful. I wanted my cake and table to match that beauty. They chose the "Cakes From The Heart" stand and it made an unbelieveable impression on the 250+ guests that were in attendance. I am thrilled that they allowed me to play a part in their first day as a couple. Congratulations you two!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Webb. I've known the bride for so long that it is going to take me a while to get used to her married name! They chose the octagon basketweave cake with buttercream icing which was a great compliment to her wedding colors. Click on the Cake Gallery link for a larger shot of the cake. I am thrilled for her and wish she and her new husband all of the best! Good luck and God Bless you both.
What an elegant day! Brianne and Chris had a very large wedding and the ceremony was beautiful. The reception and the set-up was so well done that I had to include a second picture of the table set-up. God bless you both and I wish you all the best!
Janel and Andrew became husband and wife on September 23. The table settings were unique and her choice of cake was perfect for the setting which was a beautiful view of downtown Kansas City. Congratulations and best wishes for a long, loving marriage!
This Friday evening wedding and reception was "magical." The reception was very well attended and I've never seen a group of people celebrate the couple like their guests. I thought the reception would never end! They are a well-matched couple and I wish them years of happiness.
